we arrived 3 days ago in a mini-van full of young white travellers with white earbuds in their ears.
the front lady of our hotel, Ban To, is plump and pleasant.
we found a nice place to sit in the hotel’s white plastic chairs, on the edge of the closed bar, looking out into the sea.
koh lanta is relaxing but spread out, so we found a cheap motor bike and rented it for 2 days to drive around.
W even drove, despite one failed attempt because i was bothering her too much with my criticism.
scooter adventures include (but not limited to) stumbling upon markets and buying tasty spring rolls and raw okura (which possibly gave both of us the runs), beautiful sea side driving, easy access to cheap street food, and general cool wind blowing in our faces.
koh lanta was good to us.
